Brad recently took a trip out to Cali to visit long time Staff team memeber John Jennings. A few years back John dropped his life as we know it here in NJ to take care of his good friend Stephen Murray. Since then he has just been living it up one day after another helping stephen and getting some riding in. Brad sent these two pics over the other day.
It was 30 degrees with a foot of snow on the ground last week, good thing new team rider Brandon Kitson likes to go high as shit on the 5 footer at The Incline Club. Quick, current indoor edit of him shredding. Filmed in just under a half hour I think it is safe to say Brandon kills it. I am going to keep posting some short little edits, but rest ashore once we get are dvx back there will be allot more full staff edits on the way.
This might not be the most epic of web videos, but you can't deny watching Bob take it never gets old, plus the last trick is Carter hacking a 270(except for the ultra secret last clip, guess that one and I'll send you a staff tee). Either way are friend CJ showed up today with a disk with these loose clips on it, and I figured what the hell, everyone loves a good fun session and bob falling - KC
Here is A quick welcome to the team edit, slapped together with clips CJ had from last summer.
Brad sent this official email to me and Bob earlier this morning.
Dear Bob at Staff,
I would like to thank you for many years of riding for your amazing company and an awesome friendship along the way and many more years to come! You have provided me with much more than awesome bicycle parts along the way.
I will continue to always represent Staff Bmx to the fullest of my ability anywhere I go for the rest of my life. But I'm getting old. (lol not really) But with time comes change. And that change is spelled out like this, .........BRANDON NEEDS TO BE ON STAFF!!!
As I watched Brandon ride the other day, I realized it's his time. I would give years of my riding away to be able to have the the control on my bike such as Brandon does as he pedaled full speed at the mellow ass 5ft quater and spine, and made sweet love to not only his bike with such style and grace, but to the air in parts of that building most cannot reach.
Therefore, I would like to make room on the team for him by stepping down as a full time team rider (lol again) and be put on the "Down for Life" team. Staff BMX FOR LIFE!
P.S I also told him if he did a keg stand longer than me at Augie's bday party he could be on the team. Unfortunatly, he is not well trained for such a feat to go against one with so many years of experience...........Buttttt,..... he's still young. Lets give him a chance.
Love and support forever,
-Brad
P.S.S Can I still get killer deals on parts and free tubes and clothing?...
In short Brandon has been repping staff as a customer for years, and deserves this spot. I still don't think he believed Brad when he told him. Lokk for more of Brandon and staff in the near future. Sad to see Brad step down but shit he is getting old and I know he will still be around and a part of staff for years to come, plus he started doing those gross ass lavin inspired no footed cans again last trail season. - KC
Pat just stumbled in after bieng layed up for the past two weeks or so now. He took it hard on a tailwhip to fufanu at the philly park and broke his wrist, and fractured his eye socket. He is stuck wasiting surgery but says in two months he is going to change bmx and make it fun. I can't wait BMX needs guys like Pat. Here is a couple pictures to go with the story, more to come tommorow.
Garrett went to Estonia with hopes of doing well enough to get some cash to replace the Audi was set ablaze while Augie was visiting the Animal warehouse a few weeks back. Unfortunately he wasn't able to ride in the finals after a collision with another rider on the course. By the looks of this edit G-Rat probably could have done pretty well.
What in the hell is going on around here? We got a foot plus of snow Saturday after the weather was finally looking up. Then I try and film Sean and Augie and second clip in Sean tailwhips the fish and sends it flying across the park leaving me with a swallon brow. Then last night I hear from Pat that he just broke out of the ER it turns out that he was trying a tailwhip to fufanu at the woodward park in Philly and F$%^T%$ really bad breaking his eyes socket and shattering his wrist. On top that Lil Sean had knee surgery today and is out for a few weeks, who am I going to beat up and talk shit with now at the shop. Well shit get well soon Pat, Sean and panosonic DVX.
You will have to wait for a real edit to really see whats up. But this guy has been killing it for years and use to buy stuff from Bob right out of Bob's closet so it is only right that he should be part of the staff family.
